My mom was a seamstress during WW2, but only when my dad was out to sea in the Navy.
My big sister gave me my first sewing machine when I was 7, it was a used treadle my dad kept working for me.
When my kids were in school, I made most of their clothes. Now I quilt and make bags. I teach air serger basic, ScanNCut Basic, FTCU and other software.
