This month’s Mug Rug of the Month is called “Chicken Mug Rug” and features an appliqued hen sitting in her nest atop some eggs!
Mug rugs are so handy! A mug rug is a mini placemat large enough to hold a cup or glass of your favorite beverage and a cookie or two. They protect your furniture from heat and cold, are a fun easy make, and make great gifts!
This class uses the Designs By JuJu design, Chicken Mug Rug, SKU # DBJJITH150. The design comes in several sizes. Kits are available for $20. They are cut for the 6” x 10” size but could also be used for the 5” x 7” size. The kit contains everything needed to complete two mug rugs. You provide the stabilizer and threads. The project is done completely in the hoop with no sewing required. You must own or purchase this design from the Designs By JuJu website. Please load your design onto a USB stick or on your machine prior to class and print the instructions to bring with you. If you are kitting this project, please cut your fabrics and batting prior to class. The instructions for quantity and sizes are on the instruction sheet.
Prerequisites: Must have knowledge of computerized embroidery and have an embroidery machine to bring to class.
